First off, I received a few more pics of the horses (young mini mules Jingle and Belle, plus the older white geldings, Snowball and Snowman) we helped save in December. I thought they looked adorable so here are those pics (Lifesavers has them, if you wish to inquire about adoption):

I know I’ve posted this previously… but I just love the idea – and, of course, I know Golden Gate Fields so well… wish I had been there to see it and also to interview Harvey Wallbanger afterwards. (When I was a kid, they had bison in Golden Gate Park. I wonder if they are still there…)

I can’t help myself when it comes to the Budweiser Clydesdales. I remember seeing them in person here at our Fairgrounds. They were awesome. So well trained and so glorious. Their gear was something, too!! So shiny and perfect. The drivers of the rigs were amazing, too!
