Western Horse Lessons!
Lessons last about 45 minutes. Then you are given additional time in the ring to practice what was taught during the lesson. Lessons can be tailored for you individually or we may use the CHA (Certified Horsemanship Association) and Pony Association manuals to develop your skills in all areas of riding and horsemanship.
Over the years we have become quite proficient in working with “newbies”. But, we work well with all skill levels. It just depends on what you want to accomplish.
Private Lessons start at $49 for 45 minutes, or $60 for an hour, plus some “practice” time in the ring after the lesson.
Group Lessons start at $40 for 45 minutes and, of course, your time to practice in addition.

EAGALA
EAGALA stands for Equine Assisted Growth And Learning Association. It is dedicated to improving the mental health of individuals, families, and groups around the world by setting the standard of excellence in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Equine Assisted Learning, also known as “horse therapy” or “equine therapy.”
It is also excellent for team building skills in the school and corporate environment.
Arrowmont has been working with local businesses, schools and individuals to create a positive environment for learning and developing individuals, classes and teams to their maximum while in challenging situations with horses.
The work is done with horses while you are “on the ground”. It does not involve riding. Horses are uniquely qualified for this since they are very honest in reflecting a given situation.
I learn a lot from them myself and have grown to really appreciate their integrity.
