Ring Rides
TRAIL SUMMARY
Available upon request for children as young as 2 to ride in the ring. If all you want to do is take pictures with smaller children, generally there’s no charge.
The child or children taking turns have 30 minutes in the ring being led by a parent.
Safety
You need 2 adults for very small children, 3 and younger. One to lead the horse, the other to walk beside the child holding his leg for stability.
Parents lead the child around in the ring which is about 1/2 the size of a football field. You may have several children take turns during your ring ride.
Helmets are required for children and we do provide them.

What to wear?
- Shoes: Please wear closed toed shoes with as smooth a sole as possible.
- No flip-flops, hiking boots or barefeet. Obviously, riding boots are best but tennis shoes with a smooth sole could work.
- Please do Not wear hiking boots. Their sole is very rough and may get your foot stuck in the stirrup.
- Pants: Long pants are best. Then shorts that come down to your knees. This is so your legs won’t rub on the saddle and get sore.
- Rain: Trails go rain or shine. Bring an extra T-Shirt and towel if it looks like rain.
Things that get lost on the trail:
- Sunglasses that aren’t being worn
- Cameras that aren’t on a tether around your neck
- Cell phones
- Wallets
Please leave these things in your car. Rarely do we find them.
